Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, utilizing diagnostic assessments and clinical judgments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the patients' specific orthopedic conditions, promoting recovery through evidence-based techniques.
• Administer various therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and education on home exercise programs.
• Oversee and guide the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring quality implementation of treatment plans and compliance with best practices.
• Regularly assess patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on objective findings and changing patient needs.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with facility policies, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Engage in case conferences and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and care plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, self-management strategies, and the importance of continued rehabilitation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in orthopedic physical therapy practices through continuing education and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at New Balance Movement, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient population includes adolescents, adults, and senior individuals who require specialized care and rehabilitation to regain their strength and mobility. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
