Work Environment

The role is set within a vibrant outpatient office located in Tallahassee, Florida, where you will work directly with patients in a collaborative, hands-on environment. Our clinic follows a Monday to Friday schedule, operating from 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to enjoy a balanced work-life schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Effectively assess and identify patient goals, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
• Manage a focused caseload, typically treating one patient per hour, to maximize the quality of care.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that emphasize natural recovery and enhance mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Reduce reliance on medications by exploring alternative therapies and preventative measures.
• Design and facilitate personalized fitness and wellness programs that promote long-term health and recovery.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient services and treatment provided.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation, which means you will be mainly working with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain issues. This role is ideal for therapists who wish to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients dealing with mobility challenges, enhancing their physical capabilities and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No history of board actions or disciplinary measures affecting your professional license.
• Proficient in manual therapy approaches tailored to patient needs.
• Experienced in designing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Familiar with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and deliver compassionate care.
• Experience in utilizing patient outcome measurement tools to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits
