This full-time role provides a unique opportunity to work primarily in a remote setting while also engaging in face-to-face sessions from our outpatient office located in Utica, New York. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, personal growth, and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster a sense of community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available treatment resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance your expertise in trauma-informed care.

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced trauma, stress, and anxiety, providing them with a safe space to heal and grow. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused interventions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with computer applications is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
