Facilities & Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionWe're seeking a well-rounded Facilities & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid technical expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of manufacturing and facility equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and building systems.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Must be open to occasional overtime and on-call rotation.Key Responsibilities:Maintain production and facility equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime through diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenanceDiagnose and maintain CNC lathes and related machining equipmentPerform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systemsConduct preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, air compressors, and fire & life safety systemsCoordinate and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of production and facility equipmentGeneral upkeep of interior and exterior of facility, including painting, occasional ground maintenance, furniture assembly, assist with renovations and reconfiguration of existing equipmentAdhere to all safety policies and procedures, including OSHA standards and company protocolsQualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenanceWorking knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, CNC machines, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and vacuum systemsAbility to troubleshoot basic components of CNC equipment (e.g., drives, motors, fluid systems)Experience coordinating with external vendors and service providers (e.g., CNC technical support, calibration service technicians, equipment suppliers) for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenanceDemonstrated proficiency in the use of electrical testing tools, hand tools, and power toolsAbility to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawingsHigh school diploma or GED (technical/trade school preferred)Demonstrated verbal and written communication as well as basic computer skillsProven ability to work independently and in a team environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to details and schedules.Capable of researching, ordering, and installing repair partsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. occasionallyWillingness to wear PPE, including safety glasses, for extended periodsSteel toe boots requiredAbility to work at heights and from ladders as needed
