This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional who wants more than a traditional accounting role.The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting and analytical skills, a high level of intellectual curiosity, a desire to take on increasing responsibility, and a genuine interest in using artificial intelligence to transform accounting and finance processes.This person will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of accounting and financial activities while helping identify and implement new technologies, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. We are particularly interested in someone with significant long-term potential who could grow into a management or broader finance leadership role as the company continues to expand.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and oversee key month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and analysis.Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules.Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.Research and resolve accounting issues and unusual transactions.Assist with revenue, expense, prepaid, fixed asset, and other balance sheet accounting.Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances and discrepancies.Support the annual audit and tax processes.Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial analyses.Partner with operational and business teams to understand financial results and improve processes.Identify opportunities to automate repetitive accounting processes and improve efficiency.Explore and implement practical applications of AI in accounting and finance, including workflow automation, data analysis, reconciliation, reporting, research, and process documentation.Evaluate new AI tools and technologies and help determine where they can safely and effectively improve the finance organization.Help develop standardized processes, controls, and documentation as the company grows.Participate in special projects, acquisitions, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives as needed.AI & Innovation ExpectationsAI is an important part of the future of our finance organization. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role.
