We're committed to listening to team members' ideas in order to make some of the best improvements.Positive Impacts – You'll make a difference by helping seniors live life on purpose!Responsibilities:Reads and documents in all communication logs and informs the nurse when neededEffectively completes incident reports per company policyHonors personhood by reading and knowing the Residents' Life StoriesActively involved in the life enrichment programIs compliant with company training requirementsDemonstrates a high level of safety and privacy of resident information in all work practicesChampions "follow-through" on all delegated tasks from the Director of WellnessAssists residents in accordance with their individual service (care) plans to include: personal care and activities of daily living (eating, drinking, walking, and transferring) and use of adaptive equipment (hearing aids, glasses, and dentures)Complies with company Mission, Values, and Principles of Service, policies and procedures, and applicable lawsCommunicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner with residents, families, and team membersQualifications:High school diploma or equivalency required in PennsylvaniaMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to read, write, speak & understand the English languageAbility to handle multiple priorities and tasksAbility to make decisions and act in the resident's best interestAbility to react and remain calm in difficult situationsPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniorsCompetent in organizational and time management skillsShift Availability:Full Time and Part Time positions available (Evenings & Overnights)Rotating weekends and holidaysBarnum LocationPay:$15 - $16 Hour (Based on experience and qualifications)We offer a Caregiver Career Path Program: This program allows Caregivers the opportunity to train for leadership roles with progressive wage increases.
