The Opportunity (Job Purpose): Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):
- Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
- Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
- Work closely with communication with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
- Monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
- Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
- Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
- Priority setting skills
- Customer service skills
- Technical skills/knowledge
- Dependable and reliable attendance required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand and walk; lift and carry up to 20 pounds; simple grasp, firm grasp and fine manipulation; work near moving mechanical equipment; use a variety of air tools and basic hand tools; use safety glasses, gloves, and shoes; talk or hear.
