Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, this senior leader will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a comprehensive communications program that advances the CEO's thought leadership agenda, strengthens organizational alignment, and reinforces the company's strategic narrative across all audiences.This is a highly visible, high-impact role requiring a communications professional with an established track record of supporting C-suite executives at scale. A successful candidate will bring deep expertise across executive communications disciplines and exceptional editorial judgment.What You'll Do:Executive Voice & Brand Stewardship: Establish and maintain a consistent, authoritative voice for the CEO across all communication channels. Develop and codify tone, messaging frameworks, and narrative guidelines that ensure coherence and authenticity across internal, external, and industry-facing communications.Content Development & Editorial Leadership: Serve as the primary author and editor for all CEO-attributed content, including keynote addresses, executive speeches, media talking points, op-eds, investor and board remarks, internal communications, video scripts, and digital and LinkedIn posts. Uphold the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and strategic intent across all deliverables.Executive Presence & Event Experience: Own the CEO's presence at all internal and external events in close partnership with the Senior Director, Corporate Brand Activation. Ensure the CEO's message is expressed not only through spoken remarks but across every experiential touchpoint — including video production, presentation visuals, and event staging elements — to deliver a cohesive, on-brand executive experience at every appearance.Speaking Platform Management: Oversee the development and ongoing management of the CEO's speaking and thought leadership platform. Evaluate and prioritize engagement opportunities in alignment with business objectives, develop compelling submissions and positioning materials, and ensure full preparation — including briefing documents, talking points, and rehearsal support — for all appearances.Communications Integration & Narrative Alignment: Own the full spectrum of CEO communications — spanning internal, external, and industry audiences — ensuring consistent, strategically aligned messaging across all channels. Work in close partnership with industry and internal teams to ensure alignment.Proactive Narrative Management: Anticipate communication requirements in advance of significant business milestones, market developments, and industry moments. Develop forward-looking messaging that shapes the narrative proactively, working in close partnership with the VP of Communications to ensure alignment with the broader communications strategy.How We Work: We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, our employees work three or more days in our offices, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in-person, adding richness to our culture and knitting us closer together.What You Bring:15+ years of progressive experience in executive or corporate communications, with a substantial portion dedicated to direct C-suite supportDemonstrated history of managing CEO or senior executive communications programs within complex, matrixed organizationsExceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities across a broad range of formats and audiences, with a portfolio reflecting consistent quality and rangeProficient in using AI tools to scale communications deliverables, such as briefing docs, talking points or op eds written in the executive's voice.Proven ability to internalize and authentically represent an executive's voice, perspective, and communication styleStrong business acumen and the ability to translate complex strategic priorities into clear, compelling narrativesSound judgment and the discretion required to operate with a high degree of trust and confidentiality at the executive levelExperience in technology, media, real estate, or consumer-facing industries preferredBachelor's degree required in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferredTravel: This role requires regular travel. You will be expected to attend speaking engagements, industry conferences, and key company events alongside the CEO throughout the year.
