Job Description: At Main Event, the Dishwasher position is vital to the overall cleanliness of the building and safety of our guests and staff. Our Dishwasher staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware. Responsibilities Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games. Keep immediate supervisor promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters and take corrective action. Use all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control. Safely and correctly operate all equipment. Clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware, and glassware. Carefully sort all dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of. Clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Carefully handle all glassware and dishware to eliminate breakage. Empty all trash in the kitchen and clean and maintain trash cans. Assist the other kitchen staff members with pressure point relief during the shift as needed. Assist with line maintenance, sweeping, and clearing dirty dishes. Assist with some prep and banquet items as directed by management. Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, and drains. Assist in the maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness, and stocking. Clean and maintain all mats. Assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate. Qualifications Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred, but not required. Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with guests and other team members. Be disciplined and self‑motivated. Dress in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times. Be at least 18 years of age.
