This opportunity is for an experienced pharmacist to support a dynamic outpatient hospital retail pharmacy team. The role offers a weekday schedule with four to five days of work per week, ideal for professionals seeking consistent hours in a fast-paced and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill medication orders and verify products prepared by pharmacy technicians prior to release.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the pharmacy and controlled substance inventory.
• Enter prescription orders and patient information with precision using Pioneer RX software (experience preferred).
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license is required.
• Proven pharmacy experience in a retail or outpatient hospital setting.
• Experience with Pioneer RX order entry system is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Schedule:

• Work 4 to 5 days per week.
• Typical shift hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Contract duration is between 8 to 13 weeks.

The pharmacy team consists of a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two full-time pharmacy technicians, offering a supportive work environment.
