About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Application Development to take on a senior technology leadership role with a focus on driving the strategy, delivery, and modernization of enterprise platforms and customer-facing applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing application engineering and Data & AI functions, ensuring the advancement of scalable technology solutions, and maintaining strong operational performance, security, and engineering best practices. This leader will also be instrumental in partnering with executive stakeholders, business teams, and external vendors to support digital transformation initiatives and will be tasked with improving development processes, modernizing application architecture, and enabling data-driven capabilities to support long-term business growth. Core responsibilities for the Head of Application Development include leading and developing high-performing engineering and Data & AI teams, establishing development standards, architectural governance, and SDLC best practices, and driving modernization initiatives across cloud and enterprise platforms. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to define technology roadmaps, prioritize strategic initiatives, and oversee software quality, release management, security, and operational support processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in multi-cloud environments, modern development ecosystems, and experience with Data & AI initiatives. Preferred qualifications include over 10 years of progressive software engineering and IT leadership experience, with a focus on application modernization, software delivery leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
