About the Position

Candidates without this experience will not be considered for the role. Appropriate licensure for specific role applies. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse focusing on telemetry. The unit consists of 18 beds with a team of 7 staff members on day shift and 6 staff members on night shift. The daytime team includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, 1 health unit coordinator, and 1 CNA. The nighttime team includes 1 Charge RN, 4 floor nurses, and 1 health unit coordinator/CNA. Patient ratios for RNs range from 1:4 to 1:6, while CNAs range from 1:9 to 1:18. The unit utilizes a variety of equipment for mobilization, including lift equipment, cyclers for peritoneal dialysis, and scales. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred. Candidates with a BSN and certification as a peritoneal dialysis nurse are highly valued. The ideal candidate possesses a flexible personality, is comfortable with change, compassionate, and timely. Weekends and holidays will rotate among staff. Floating to similar units or being utilized as a sitter may be required if needed. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs for RNs. All staff must adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
