Farmer Stock Operator (Week 1 M-F 10am-7pm, Week 2 M-F 7am-4pm)

Summary U nloads peanuts from trucks into the correct farmer stock warehouse. Operates the cleaning system to ensure we are not wasting peanuts by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Communicates with drivers and co-works. Performs sanitation and maintenance on equipment and surrounding areas. Visually inspects pit and equipment for damage, moisture or potential contaminates prior to operation. Monitors equipment for proper operation and make adjustments as necessary. Ensure proper loading and unloading of Farmer Stock Warehouse. Verifies driver paperwork prior to unloading to ensure trucks are loaded into the correct warehouse. Fills out paperwork Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices. Assists with any other duties assigned by management.. Follows LOTO SOPs. Performs operator level maintenance per SOPs. Maintains and cleans equipment per OEM requirements to minimize downtime. Follows all food safety requirements. Keeps daily records on grades of peanuts received. Directs drivers engaged in unloading peanuts. Certifications Previous experience running heavy equipment (e.g., skid steerer-bobcat, forklift, manlift) is preferred but not required. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. This position is located in a peanut processing facility where constant exposure to peanut dust and particles is unavoidable. Additionally, this role requires working at elevated heights, including climbing ladders and platforms up to 60 feet.
