Job Title: Business Analyst Duration (Contract): 6 Months Client Location: Plano, TX 75023 Location Preference: Onsite Job Description: As a Business Analyst, you are responsible for supporting the organization's operational and strategic projects from a data driven perspective. This role will support strategic planning processes by gathering and analyzing data, evaluating business trends, and preparing reports to aid in decision-making. This role involves collaborating with various departments to align business objectives, improve efficiency, and optimize performance. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for organizing and analyzing data from various sources. Able to extract valuable insights and create informative dashboards, reports, and presentations tailored for various stakeholders by utilizing advanced data analysis tools and software. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and other essential business metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Design data models for analysis and reporting that supports operational business unit decisions and guides strategic direction. Conduct thorough analyses of the company’s current performance, market trends, and industry benchmarks. Collaborate with data engineers to validate data extracted from operational systems for accuracy. Provide valuable inputs for strategic planning and decision-making processes through the use of data models and forecasting techniques. Offer insightful recommendations for potential business opportunities and cost-saving measures, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and efficient. Works closely with various functional groups, including business management, field management, and account management teams to achieve optimal outcomes. Facilitate seamless coordination and alignment among different departments by fostering strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication. Identify areas where business operations can be improved by leveraging expertise in data analytics and process optimization. Propose innovative solutions and implement appropriate tools and systems to enhance productivity and streamline reporting procedures. Required Skills, Experiences, Education and Competencies: 2-4 years of experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field. Master's preferred. Advanced SQL (2+ years professional experience), Jupyter Lab, Python. Proficiency in analysis tools and software for dashboard development (such as SuperSet, Power BI, Tableau, Excel). Familiarity with statistical testing, modeling, forecasting, and project management principles is beneficial. Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities, are crucial for success in this position. Attention to detail and high organizational skills are equally important. Analytical thinking, strategic planning, collaboration and teamwork, results-oriented mindset, adaptability to change. The hourly range for roles of this nature is $45.00 to $80.00/hr.
