Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Collaborating closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals, you will partake in a supportive environment that emphasizes collaboration and holistic patient care. Utilizing advanced rehabilitation technologies and methodologies, you will have the tools at your disposal to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations for patients experiencing functional limitations and disabilities, ensuring every treatment plan is custom-tailored to meet their unique needs.
• Stay informed about state practice acts and adhere to all regulations governing physical therapy practice, including supervision guidelines.
• Provide evaluation services, including thorough reviews of patient histories, detailed assessments and documentation of results, contributing to effective treatment planning.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings as well as ongoing patient health status, maintaining flexibility in an evolving healthcare environment.
• Engage actively in multidisciplinary consultations with other healthcare professionals regarding significant changes in patients' conditions and necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Facilitate appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities that capture their progress throughout the treatment course.
• Maintain compliance with all corporate and clinical training, as well as state and federal regulations, to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
• Perform and complete daily treatment assignments, while guaranteeing quality care for patients and maximizing departmental productivity.
• Participate in ongoing educational initiatives, conferences, and team meetings to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, all requiring targeted physical therapy interventions to regain their strength and mobility. You will play a critical role in helping patients return to their daily activities by addressing a range of conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Through your guidance and compassion, you will directly improve their lives and support their journeys toward recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program essential for practice.
• Possess a valid physical therapist state license to practice in New Jersey.
• 2+ years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong preference for those who bring experience in personal training or similar areas.
• A current CPR certification to ensure you are prepared for any emergency medical situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily establish rapport and connect with patients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using digital solutions and applications related to personal training will be considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development, with a willingness to adopt new methodologies and technologies in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
