WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As Kitchen Manager, you'll lead daily Back-of-House operations and ensure our team consistently delivers exceptional food, quality, and service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all daily Back-of-House operations
• Lead by example and uphold Toscano's standards for food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and presentation
• Train, coach, motivate, and develop Kitchen Team Members
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage labor costs
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
• Monitor food preparation to ensure recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards are consistently followed
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and proper product rotation
• Help control food costs through effective portion control and waste reduction
• Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe kitchen
• Partner with Front-of-House leadership to ensure smooth service and an exceptional guest experience
• Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, quality, and profitability
• Work together with our Toscano Herriman Team to ensure standards are being upheld at both locations

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent kitchen management or kitchen leadership experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, sanitation, and food safety.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop Kitchen Teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with inventory, ordering, food cost control, and labor management.
• Ability to remain organized and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Full-time schedule: 45 hours per week minimum (may fluctuate during Holidays and in busy seasons)
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended shifts based on business needs.

Must possess upon hire:

• Utah Food Handler Permit

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$65,000–$70,000 Annual Salary — DOE
