Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Kansas City, Kansas.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Aug 23, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced IR Tech for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 2 years of IR and scrub experience along with ARRT Radiography certification.Details\n \n Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit\n Fast-paced, high-volume environment handling 60-65 cases per day\n Siloed unit that manages all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services\n Operates 7 rooms, managing cases neck-down with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies\n Uses Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee systems (single-plane, no biplane functionality)\n Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday with a rotating day off\n No weekend requirements\n On-call required as needed\n May float to Cambridge IR\n Requirements\n \n Active KS or compact RN license required\n ARRT Radiography certification required in hand\n Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license required (may start with pending KS license after offer)\n AHA BLS certification required\n Minimum 2 years of IR and scrub experience required\n 3+ years of IR experience, large hospital experience, and peripheral/neurovascular experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Facility is nicotine-free\n New graduates will not be considered for this position\n Orientation held every Monday and Tuesday, with additional nursing orientation Wednesday through Friday on a bi-weekly basis\n Credentials due one week prior to start date (Monday)\n Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate\n Holidays are not required; if a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, holiday pay hours will be deducted from the subsequent pay period\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-742751.
