Building Automation Sales Representative

Are you currently working in building automation, HVAC controls, controls project management, estimating, inside sales, technical sales support, or field controls and ready to move into a more customer-facing sales role? Comfort Systems USA Ohio is growing our Building Automation Systems (BAS) team in Columbus, OH, and we are looking for a Building Automation Sales Representative to help grow our BAS, HVAC controls, service agreement, retrofit, and integrated building systems business. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands building automation and HVAC controls, enjoys solving customer problems, and wants to stay connected to the technical side of the business while building a career in consultative sales. Compensation Compensation includes a base salary range of $80,000 to $110,000, based on experience, plus an uncapped commission structure tied to new business and account growth. Preferred Background BAS Inside Sales or Sales Support role HVAC Controls Technician role and interested in sales Technical Account Support or Service Coordination role within BAS Responsibilities Controls upgrades and integrations Retrofit and modernization projects Energy optimization solutions Long-term customer support and account growth The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-driven, and comfortable communicating technical solutions in a clear and practical way. You do not need to come from a traditional sales background, but you should enjoy building relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping develop solutions that improve building performance, comfort, reliability, and efficiency.
