CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistPrograms, sets up, and operates CNC machinery to manufacture complex precision parts for drilling and geotechnical equipment, ensuring dimensional accuracy and quality.Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Program CNC machines using G-code and/or CAM softwarePerform complex setups, including fixturing, tooling selection, and offsetsMachine close-tolerance parts from steel, aluminum, and specialty alloysInspect finished parts to blueprint specificationsTroubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actionsMentor CNC Operators and AssistantsMaintain accurate production and inspection recordsRequirements:Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED3+ years CNC machining experienceProficiency in G-code programmingAbility to work to tight tolerances (±0.001")Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree in Manufacturing TechnologyCAM software experience (Mastercam, Fusion 360)Experience machining drill rods or downhole toolsPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to cutting fluids, metal dust, and noise. Required PPE at all times.
