PSC Industries leads the market with some of the most extensive die cutting equipment and is constantly researching new products, materials, machinery, and advanced technology that established PSC Industries as a leader in the fabricating industry. Job Duties And Responsibilities Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity. Maintain a safe work environment. Schedule production for the department and meet production requirements. Coordinate requirements and schedules with other departments. Supervise up to 30 production hourly employees. Adjust work force based on workload. Troubleshoot and solve production problems. Evaluate and improve production efficiency. Follow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, human resources, and continuous improvement). Some Extended hours & Weekends as necessary. Drive & Implement improvement & Lean initiatives. Requirements And Qualifications Must have a High School Diploma or GED Supervisory & Quality experience is a plus. Proficiency in basic Math skills Excellent communicator, both verbally and written Mechanically inclined Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plus Demonstrate an understanding of Quality Systems (i.e. ISO9001) Good decision-making skills 5-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus Proficiency using Measurement Tools (i.e., Tape Measure, Digital Calipers, etc.) Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Must submit to a Drug Screening and Background About PSC Industries ABOUT US - PSC (Packaging Service Corporation) started and was founded in 1954 in Louisville, KY by D.
