Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a supervisory role within our tax department, located in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will oversee a team of tax professionals, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of tax associates and seniors, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Review and manage the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes and advising clients accordingly.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
