Delray Beach Open Social Media ManagerThe Delray Beach Open is looking for a creative, organized, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to help lead our social media coverage for the 2027 tournament! This role will be responsible for overseeing the Delray Beach Open Social Team and coordinating the day-to-day execution of our social media coverage. We're looking for someone who can see the big picture, manage a team in a fast-paced live-event environment, and make sure the moments we need are captured, created, and posted at the right time.Full Position Dates: January 1 – February 25, 2027In-Person On-Site Dates: February 6 - February 24, 2027Tournament Dates: February 12–21, 2027Location: Delray Beach, FLCompensation: $1,500 flat feeWhat You'll DoLead the Social TeamHelp oversee and manage the Social Media Assistant and team of photographers during tournament weekDevelop daily content plans and assign coverage responsibilities across the teamMake sure key matches, players, sponsor activations, special events, fan experiences and behind-the-scenes moments are properly coveredCommunicate throughout the day with photographers and team members to ensure required content is being capturedKeep track of what has been captured, what has been posted and what still needs coverageAdapt quickly when schedules, matches or priorities changeWork closely with Delray Beach Open staff to ensure important Tournament and sponsor content does not get missedManage & Execute Social Media CoverageHelp plan the Delray Beach Open social media content calendar leading into the TournamentManage real-time social media coverage throughout Tournament weekCreate, edit, schedule and publish content across DBO social channelsProduce Instagram Stories, Reels, feed posts and other short-form contentCover match results, player moments, fan experiences, special events, sponsor activations and everything happening around the groundsHelp ensure content is timely, accurate, engaging and consistent with the Delray Beach Open brandIdentify great content opportunities throughout the Tournament rather than simply waiting for assignmentsHelp tell the full story of the Delray Beach Open, both on and off the courtContent Creation & Graphic DesignCreate or update social graphics as needed throughout the engagementProduce quick-turnaround graphics such as Match Results, Order of Play, schedule updates, Champion graphics and other timely Tournament contentWork within existing DBO graphic templates and brand guidelinesAssist with additional creative content needs as they ariseMost major graphic templates and creative assets will be prepared in advance, but the Social Media Manager should be comfortable creating and adapting graphics when needed.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:Has experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging contentIs a strong leader and communicator who is comfortable coordinating a small content teamIs extremely organized and able to keep track of multiple content needs at onceUnderstands how to prioritize coverage in a fast-moving live-event environmentHas a strong eye for what makes great social contentUnderstands Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, Stories and short-form videoIs comfortable using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite and has graphic design skillsCan edit and publish content quicklyIs proactive, reliable, detail-oriented and able to problem-solve on the flyIs available on-site throughout the Delray Beach Open, February 12–21Has an interest in sports, live events or tennis — tennis knowledge is a plus!Why Join the DBO Social Team?This is an opportunity to work behind the scenes at an ATP Tour event and play a major role in how fans experience the Delray Beach Open online.
