Our sales office is outside. This job requires weekends. Please do not apply if you're unable to work outside or weekends.

Neptune Nursery in Palm City, Florida, is looking for a sales associate to join our growing Team!

The ideal candidate must have experience working in a nursery, and possesses the following qualities: positive personality, hard worker, self-starter, great customer service skills, able to use register, count money, retain information, complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, team player, flexible, good with sales, and reliable.

A Horticulture Degree is a plus.

Some duties include:

• Taking care of plants and palms.
• Help with watering plants at the nursery.
• Maintaining and cutting back plants.
• Knowledge of the sod, plants, palms, mulch and materials we sell.
• Organizing the office (e.g., answering calls, assisting customers with plants, rocks, pottery, taking deliveries, managing orders, drivers, plant material, ordering materials for the nursery,  keeping offices clean, etc.).
• Help co-workers with different nursery tasks.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Posting on social media.
• Miscellaneous duties.

Skills Required:

• Able to use a register, computer, WORD, Google Docs, iPhone, and count money.
• Being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
• Horticulture Degree/Knowledge (knows their plants and palms, etc).

Please do NOT apply if you can't work weekends:

• Monday-Friday, the hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Saturday the hours are 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Sundays, the hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 (depending on experience).
