GSE Mechanic

Location: Denver International Airport (DEN)

Pay: $35 - $40/hour (based on experience)

Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday (must be available for weekends and holidays)

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair ground support equipment and fleet vehicles at Denver International Airport. This role supports airport operations by troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, service vans, and other heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and diesel systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs.
• Inspect equipment and identify safety or maintenance concerns.
• Complete routine services including oil changes, brake work, and engine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate repair records and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or fleet maintenance experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and repair documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
