Valhalla Vitality is a telemedicine holistic wellness center that delivers convenient access to health-promoting therapies that improve well-being. The team at Valhalla Vitality approaches medicine from a holistic point of view using science and technology. The wellness center provides therapies for fat loss and anti-aging, innovative weight loss therapies such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide, and therapies to restore hormone balance.

We seek a detail-oriented Medical Data Entry Associate to join our growing Clinical Care Team! The Medical Data Entry Associate should bring robust qualifications and a strong desire to contribute their knowledge and expertise to a meaningful program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing the therapy orders and assisting the providers in sending these orders to compounding pharmacy partners per charting notes.
• Complete and submit all required orders on time.
• Retrieve patient data from other sources and key into predefined fields.
• Review data for discrepancies or errors and correct them as needed.
• Check-in with pharmacies to ensure the prescriptions have been appropriately received and verify the dosage and other relevant information as needed.
• Accessing Electronic Medical Records to gather data for the provider, including but not limited to prior medical records and lab results.
• Perform all job duties in compliance with Person First standards, HIPAA guidelines, and company confidentiality policies and procedures
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates proper judgment at all times when determining what action to take when resolving problems
• Familiarity with medical terminology to translate jargon and abbreviations into a formal form to become part of a patient's electronic medical file
• Highly attentive to detail
• Knowledge of basic computer and word processing applications
• Data processing experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree required

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
