Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and maintenance of our food processing facility. This role focuses on maintaining the building structure and general facilities—not production machinery—and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.

• Perform general building maintenance including:
  • Painting (interior/exterior surfaces, touch-ups, coatings)
  • Drywall repair and installation
  • Light carpentry and framing
• Repair walls, ceilings, floors, and other structural components as needed
• Maintain facility appearance and address wear-and-tear issues promptly
• Conduct routine inspections of the building structure and report issues
• Assist with minor plumbing, door repair, and fixture replacement
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards required in a food processing environment
• Maintain tools, materials, and workspace in an organized and safe manner
• Coordinate with supervisors on larger repair or improvement projects

• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or related field
• Hands-on experience with drywall, painting, and basic framing
• General knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to lift up to (50 lbs) and work on ladders as needed

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oakdale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Oakdale,CA.
