Job Summary:
An experienced Registered Nurse (RN) is sought for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) position located in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including catheterizations and electrophysiology (EP) techniques. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licenses: California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) or Interventional Radiology (IR); 3-5 years combined experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), and/or Cath Lab; at least 5 years of clinic nursing experience. Prior travel experience within the past 12 months and teaching hospital experience are preferred.
• Schedule: 10 hours per day, dayshift with variable start times, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Skills: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations in adult patients, including left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and the use of specialized equipment such as the Pulmonary Artery Line and Swan Ganz catheter.
• Additional Requirements: Must have prior travel experience within 12 months. All RN positions require a BSN.
• Float Policy: Resources may be reassigned to different departments, units, or facilities within a 75-mile radius based on staffing needs and job specifications.
• EMR System: Epic

Submission Requirements:

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or proof of scheduled appointment before start date if booster not yet received).
• Documentation proving vaccination status must be provided.

Additional Information:
All RN positions require a BSN. Candidates must be flexible to be reassigned as needed within the designated radius. Modules are non-billable and included in NBO hours, with 8 hours allocated for modules during pre-start and annually thereafter.
