Assistant Project Manager – Commercial Construction Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience About TrueBuild Group TrueBuild Group is a growing commercial general contractor specializing in private and public-sector construction projects throughout South Florida. Our work includes new construction, renovations, municipal facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure, libraries, community centers, parks, and other commercial projects. We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager who wants to take on meaningful responsibility, work directly with company leadership, and grow into a Project Manager as the company continues to expand. This position is primarily office-based in Palm Beach Gardens with regular travel to project sites throughout South Florida. What You'll Do Assist with the management of commercial construction projects from startup through closeout Manage RFIs, submittals, project logs, and project documentation Assist with subcontractor buyout and scope review Track procurement and long-lead materials Assist with change order pricing and cost tracking Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and Superintendents Assist with project schedules and look-ahead planning Attend project meetings and maintain meeting documentation Support project closeout and punch list completion Visit project sites as required to support project execution What We're Looking For 3+ years of commercial construction experience Experience working for a commercial General Contractor preferred Experience with RFIs, submittals, procurement, and subcontractor coordination Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings Strong understanding of commercial construction methods Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and take ownership of assigned responsibilities Valid Florida driver's license South Florida commercial construction experience and municipal/public-sector experience are strongly preferred.
