As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Welcome Desk in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and front desk protocols at a financial services location. Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, manage sign‑in processes, and report unusual or suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations with a problem‑solving approach, following post orders and emergency response procedures as appropriate. Answer phones, assist with directions, coordinate with building contacts, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor information in required logs and systems. Support a professional front desk presence by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining awareness of entry points, and communicating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, and/or a Corrections Academy Certificate. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
