Our organization is in search of a distinguished academic pediatric neurologist to take on the role of Division Chief for Pediatric Neurology. This is a unique chance to create and develop rather than simply maintain existing structures. The incoming Chief will spearhead a strategic investment in pediatric neuroscience, with plans to expand to 13 pediatric neurologist faculty roles, six advanced practice provider positions, statewide outreach programs, tele-neurology initiatives, and a long-term vision for a multidisciplinary Pediatric Neuroscience Institute. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership across the system, hospital, and department to attract outstanding faculty, enhance research and education, broaden access to care, and establish our organization as a leading center for pediatric neuroscience in South Carolina and the Southeast region.
