Senior Accountant

Overview New role with the real estate arm of a well-known Family Office based in Northern VA! This is a full cycle accounting position in a small department so it's a great learning experience with room for growth in a friendly relaxed environment. Reports to: Controller Works closely with the President and VP of Development. Responsibilities Prepare Accrual Books for: Operating Properties (office, residential & industrial) Active & Pre Developments Including variance analysis & cash flow projections Oversee Accounts Payable process using automated A/P software Record receipts, wires & check runs, bank reconciliations Assist with audits & tax cap preparation, budgets, and lender reporting Communicates with project team, onsite management, lenders, investors Ownership accounting including capital calls & preferred return calculations Qualifications BS in Accounting CPA preferred 3-5 years experience Real estate experience Yardi experience preferred.
