TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year minimum License: Pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - IV starts - Telemetry experience - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Description: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles: Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. No prior certifications required. Travelers will float to meet facility needs. Floats will occur to Medical/Surgical Telemetry, Progressive Care Unit, and lower acuity settings within the skill set. Floating to Emergency Department is expected with ratios of 1:5, possible 1:6 based on acuity and available resources. Weekend requirement is 2 shifts per 4-week schedule; may vary by unit needs. Previous charge experience is preferred. No on-call requirement. Daily census runs above 100% capacity. Staffed beds total 554. Patient diagnoses include but are not limited to: Heart Failure, COPD, ESRD, Renal Transplant, Trauma, Stroke, Sepsis, Hypoxia, Covid, Influenza, and more. Expectations include being flexible and willing to adapt to different patient care needs, as well as meeting any additional requirements that may arise during the assignment. Majority of floors operate with primary nursing and limited ancillary support. Applicants should be open to both 36 or 48-hour contracts. Maximum of 7 days off preferred. No request time off during the first 7 days of the contract or the last day of the contract. Please ensure all required qualifications are met before applying.
