Staff Accountant

Our client, a dynamic organization in Hardscape Manufacturing, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accuracy, diligence, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Brewster, NY

Pay Range: $28

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Temp-Perm Opportunity

What's the Job?

• Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Reconcile payroll, bank, credit card, and other general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation
• Support internal and external audits

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of general accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and accounts payable
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar ERP systems preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
