Your Day-to-Day Tasks

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established protocols meticulously.
• Review results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Eligibility for a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health paired with certification preparation by ASCP/AMT.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
