• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and undertake preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing whenever necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a sanitized, secure workspace by adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health discipline, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of your hire date.
• Continuous maintenance of your certification throughout your employment.
