Description What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for thorough testing when necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, mentor new hires or students, and help maintain laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Keep a safe and pristine work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Continuous maintenance of certification throughout your employment is required.
