Senior Analyst FinanceDuration: 06+ MonthsLocation: Wauwatosa, WISchedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Interview Process: Client TeamsJob Description:This position provides financial guidance and analytical support for Motorcycle Product Development.This position will perform month end closing duties to include reporting, variance explanations and journal entries as well as annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, capital business case support, and ad-hoc analyses as needed.The position will have cross functional involvement across Product Development, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing and other areas of Finance.This position will have exposure to and present to company management on a regular basis.Job Responsibilities:Month end closing duties to include variance analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and results reporting for given motorcycle platforms and assigned departments. Understanding of and adherence to internal controls and GAAP.Provides business analysis and modeling with emphasis in understanding the supported businessBusiness case preparation for capital funding requests. Includes financial modeling with analysis of projected returns (IRR/NPV/Payback Period).Guides and partners with business partners in aspects of financial decision making and budget managementCoordinates the development and tracking of project budgets, forecasts and actualsParticipate in special projects as neededEducation Requirements:This position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience Requirements:The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years related work and/or public accounting experience.Competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and experience in a variety of Finance areas.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective; and excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.Excellent organizational skills – ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.PowerBi ExperiencePreferred but not Required:SAP and ERP experience.
