Dietitian

Submission Requirements: Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply. Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up *ALL SUBMITTALS MUST INCLUDE A UNEXPIRED COPY OF THE CANDIDATES DRIVES LICENSE* Unit Dietician (RD) or Nutritionist (RDN) What areas do they cover General medicine/hospitalist patients for adult vacancies and general pediatric coverage for peds openings. # of patient consults/day (caseload) 8-10 patients per day Required Certifications Registered Dietitian and WV State Licensure Common diagnoses/Types of patients Obesity, prediabetes, cancer, celiac disease, HTN, high cholesterol, malnutrition, eating disorders, & any other disease or condition that causes unintentional weight loss Pediatric hospitalist Experience or 'Must have' skills At least one year of inpatient clinical experience and for peds prefer pediatric experience Dietary Manager/Supervisor Jill Johnston, MS, RD, LD Are there dietary/nutrition aids in this department? What are their job duties? Not currently EMR (if different from the hospital/facility) EPIC Any special equipment No Shifts & Scheduling 8 am-4:30 pm M-F with possible on call remotely every 6-8 weeks for adult and every 4-5 weeks for pediatrics Weekend Requirement On call remote only Holiday Requirement On call remote only Is there a call or standby requirement?
