Maintenance/Facilities Supervisor - Machinery Manufacturing

With an upcoming retirement creating a key leadership opportunity, they are looking for a Maintenance Leader to oversee facility maintenance and reliability at a well-established Chicago operation with more than nine decades of success. Job Description Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ensure reliable operation of fire and security systems Respond to facility issues and minimize operational disruptions Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs Identify risks and implement improvements to reduce downtime Coordinate third-party service providers and contractors Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to defined standards Support compliance with OSHA regulations and building codes Manage inspections, permits, and required documentation Prioritize maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions Track maintenance expenses, contracts, and service records Provide regular updates to plant leadership MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
