Who we are Located in Culver City, ACCESS LA is a referral hospital with 24-hour Emergency services, where our technicians encounter a variety of cases while working closely with some of the most qualified doctors in the country. Provide your best care with more bridges and less barriers. As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our patients. Your work will include outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, admitting and discharging patients, and supporting the emergency department which offers new challenges every day. Role Responsibilities: Support veterinarians to ensure quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist with hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures as per your state's Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed technicians. Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records using practice systems. Gather health history and information from clients, and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized. Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
