The ideal candidate should function as an integral part of a team of educators in implementing lesson plans and creating a warm, welcoming and positive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Exemplify the Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care Philosophy and live our Core Values
• Create and develop strong parent and child relationships
• Foster a learning environment that stimulates child growth and development
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of lesson plans
• Ensure a clean and healthy classroom atmosphere by maintaining children's proper hygiene and following proper diaper changing and potty training policies and procedures
• Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development

An ideal candidate for this role should possess:

• Nurturing, flexibility, willingness to learn and adapt, positive attitude, friendly persona, able to communicate with parents and overall eagerness to grow
• Must love children and have a passion for teaching
• Prefer CDA or BA in Education (focus in Early Childhood preferred) or foreign equivalent
• Prefer prior classroom experience in child care, preschool or kindergarten.
• Compensation is based on education and experience.
