Manufacturing Engineer

Extension is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a direct‑hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Lomira, WI Overview A leading contract manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, and deliver high‑quality products for a diverse customer base. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production methods Support CNC machining, fabrication, tooling, and process optimization efforts Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards Lead continuous improvement activities focused on reducing waste, improving throughput, and lowering costs Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions Support new product introductions and manufacturability reviews Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience with CNC programming and manufacturing processes Strong understanding of machining, fabrication, and production operations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Knowledge of SPC, quality systems, and continuous improvement methods Salary & Schedule $70,000–$90,000 annually Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM Why This Opportunity Join an established and stable organization with decades of success Make a direct impact on production efficiency, quality, and operational improvements Work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and development Enjoy a consistent schedule with half‑day Fridays Be part of a company focused on technology, innovation, and continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
