Assistant Manager (09282) - 2329-A Hwy 36 S Full-time Job Category Org: Store Assistant Manager About the Job You are the leader who ensures that everyone in the store performs their tasks efficiently and that policies and procedures are followed 100%. This role includes responsibility for cost control, inventory, cash handling, and customer relations. You will oversee staffing, paperwork, scheduling, marketing, and overall store performance while maintaining a clean, safe, and customer‑friendly environment. Job Requirements and Duties Set an example for the crew and enforce all policies and procedures. Manage cost controls, inventory control, and cash control. Handle customer relations and aim for excellent service. Ensure attendance, punctuality, and proper transportation to work. Oversee store cleanliness, marketing, and promotional activities. Maintain profit and adherence to standards such as the “Perfect Image.” Qualifications Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery to storage. Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory. Clean equipment and facility daily. Complete associated paperwork accurately. Provide orientation and training on the job. Communicate written and verbal instructions to customers and co‑workers. Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly. Operate computer or touch‑screen to enter orders. Handle monetary change correctly. Demonstrate motor coordination, hand‑eye coordination, and ability to use kitchen tools. Physical Demands Stand, walk, and perform tasks for the majority of the shift. Lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds, including pizza dough and supplies. Reach above 72” and bend at the waist during assembly and stocking. Work in temperatures ranging from 36°F to above 90°F. Navigate stairways and ladders to perform maintenance or stock items. Driving Specific Job Duties Deliver product by car to customer locations and distribute flyers. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Navigate diverse delivery environments and transport goods during delivery shifts.
