Position Overview
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Pharmacist for a direct-hire opportunity in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital or home infusion experience who is looking for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the opportunity to work in a patient-focused infusion environment.
The pharmacist will be responsible for IV medication verification, pharmacy technician supervision, and direct communication with patients to support safe and effective home infusion therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify IV medication orders and ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
- Communicate directly with patients regarding their medication therapy and treatment needs
- Support daily home infusion pharmacy operations
- Ensure medications are prepared and dispensed safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license required
- Previous hospital or home infusion pharmacy experience required
- IV compounding experience required
- Strong knowledge of IV medications and infusion pharmacy practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a patient-focused environment
- Must be able to successfully meet employer background requirements
