Job Description Handle premises liability and general liability litigation matters from case inception through resolution Independently manage a litigation caseload and drive cases forward Research, analyze, and interpret statutes, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery Conduct depositions and attend hearings in various counties and courthouses Monitor case files and deadlines to ensure matters stay on track Investigate facts and legal issues to support liability analysis and case strategy Work closely with the team on defense strategy, case development, and client reporting Qualifications Active Illinois Bar license in good standing 4+ years of litigation experience Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Defense-side litigation experience preferred Premises liability or general liability experience preferred Deposition experience preferred Missouri license is a plus Ability to manage cases with increasing independence and responsibility Why You Will Love Working Here You'll be part of a team that values high-quality legal work, strong mentorship, and steady professional growth.
