Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Greeter to join our team. As a Greeter, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a welcoming and positive experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store or establishment
- Assist customers with locating products or services
- Provide information about promotions or special offers
- Direct customers to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems for processing transactions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Sales-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Effective time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of appliance sales is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for pricing and discounts
- Experience in cash handling procedures
- Ability to upsell products or services to customers
