Job Title: Attendant Department: Varies Reports to: Assigned District Manager FLSA: Hourly – Non-Exempt Effective Date: April 30, 2024 Job Summary Under the supervision of the District Manager at a specific location, the Attendant provides exemplary customer service to patrons of parlors. Primary responsibilities include gaming tracking and payouts, register accountability, general cleaning, and upkeep of gaming equipment. Good attendance habits are required. Accountability Adhere to dress code. Contact Lucky Lincoln when gaming equipment breakdown arises while on duty. Report all parlor issues directly to the Lead Attendant or District Manager in a timely manner. Count drawer and verify funds before starting and ending the shift. Verify and sign shift checklist on daily assigned shifts with dates and times. Place voucher numbers on tracking log. Read and adhere to all policies and procedures. Carry out accurate redemptions. Ring all transactions through POS system. Apply alcohol discounts in keeping with proper days of discount. Attendance Follow company attendance policy. Follow company policy for absences. Check and follow assigned schedule. Cover shifts when short-staffed or for unscheduled call-offs. Be flexible with time as assigned. Wait for the next shift person to relieve you; the parlor cannot be left unattended. Customer Service Attend to customers’ needs for snacks and drinks. Ensure customers know how to play the games. Inform customers about the loyalty program. Inform customers of specials. Answer parlor phones. Contact terminal operators as needed. Check all customers’ state identification to confirm age of 21 years or older. Cleaning Clean floors, bathrooms, gaming machines, and chairs. Clean waiting area. Vacuum and dust. Clean windows. Empty trash. Keep outside area of building free of trash. Stocking Check expiration dates on products available to customers. Rotate stock to ensure products are used before expiration dates. Put away stock as it is delivered. Restock inventory at the attendant desk for customer use. Training Obtain Food Handler and Bassett Certification within 30 days from hire date. Complete customer service training as required. Physical Requirements Age 21 years or older. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects of 20 lbs. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Proficiency in English required; bilingual welcome.
