As a Security Officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
