Responsibilities include greeting customers and assessing their service needs with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers, preparing and presenting accurate service estimates and invoices to customers, coordinating with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery, following up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, maintaining a clean and organized service area to enhance customer experience, staying updated on automotive technology and service trends to provide informed recommendations, and utilizing point-of-sale systems to manage transactions and customer records efficiently.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; automotive experience is a plus, previous experience in customer service or automotive service advising preferred, strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster customer relationships, ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale software, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, valid driver's license and a clean driving record, positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
