Novant Health Heart and Vascular Institute, with its Clinical Electrophysiology Department, is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join a dedicated and expanding team. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced Cardiac Electrophysiologists and APPs. We are seeking highly motivated APPs, who are able to function autonomously and dedicated to provide advanced cardiac arrhythmia care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

What You'll Do

• Outpatient-focused hybrid position centered on atrial fibrillation management, with some inpatient electrophysiology and general cardiology cross-coverage.
• Collaborate with Electrophysiologists to staff appropriate patient cases.
• Manage multidisciplinary aspects of atrial fibrillation including medication management, peri-procedural planning, and left atrial appendage occlusion program.
• Hours: Full-time, four 10 hour shifts (7AM-5PM) with occasional coverage needed from 7AM-7PM. Role includes weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis among the APP group.
• Supporting Locations: Forsyth Medical Center, NH Cardiology Kimel Park Main, NH Cardiology Kimel Park Annex, NH Cardiology Highland Oaks

What We're Looking For

Education: Master's Degree or higher Required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program required.

Experience: Prior provider and cardiology experience is preferred but not required, as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. BLS and ACLS certification required (training available).

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current NP or PA license in appropriate state Required. NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC Board Certification and current DEA registry Required. BLS and ACLS certification required (training available).

Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Will receive on-the-job training administering cardiac stress testing.

Full-time, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage on a rotational basis among the cardiology APP group.

These roles provide a supportive environment with comprehensive training, suitable for new graduates or APPs looking to develop expertise in cardiac electrophysiology. We will provide an extensive on-boarding training to support your transition to becoming a subspecialized APP.
